Microschool for K to 12th Grade Gifted Students
Welcome to Waybright Academy. Our family-based microschool is dedicated to providing an inspirational and personalized education for children that want to learn real world skills and love technology. Our custom written curriculum is focused in areas of study such as: Programming & Gaming, Engineering & Robotics, and Animation & Digital Media. Inspiring future thinkers for over ten years!
Custom Built
Education
Our learner-centered education program is adaptive, allowing parents and students to customize their education to meet students’ individual learning needs. We strive to create lifelong learners who finish their Waybright Academy education prepared for the future.
Cutting Edge
Courses
We nurture your child’s tech skills from the ground up, and take them to new heights with emerging technology at our facility. Our courses cater to all skill levels from 3rd to 12th grade, while integrating college-level curriculum and tools.
Inspirational
Curriculum
Children from across the valley and beyond visit us to hone their technology skills and learn with our year-round tutors. Some of the students we’ve worked with have stayed with us for the 10+ years we’ve been open because they love what we do!
What Makes Us Different?
A Truly Custom Experience
We rewrite our curriculum every week while courses are ongoing based on how your student responds to lessons and what they’re interested in as well as their unique learning style and needs.
Unmatched Attention
We max out at 10 students and offer 1:1 teaching. Each student moves at their own pace with individualized learning plans, individual assignments, and direct involvement and meetings with the owner.
Our Vision for Gifted Education
We’re a family-run business founded by a mother of three gifted and special needs daughters. We provide homeschooling-level attention to match the passion and potential of our students to help gifted minds build confidence and grow into lifelong learners.
We Specialize in Special
We understand gifted and special needs and use mastery-based learning principles and passion-led learning styles to bring confidence to our students and teach to asymmetrical learning needs.
Our Program Works
Waybright students complete their education as fulfilled, well-rounded, eager learners. Our students earn A’s in ASU college courses for credit as early as 10 and are guided through their weaker subject areas to catch up by as many as 3Â years.
Our Students Love to Be Here
Our students have chosen a regular day of school over trips to Disneyland and birthday celebrations. We don’t require any at-home homework, and our students still ask if they can keep working on their favorite work at home.
